Prime Healthcare is seeking a VP, Epic Revenue Cycle with a few years of implementation experience and maintenance of Epic Revenue Cycle in a hospital system is mandatory. The Vice President of Epic EHR Revenue Cycle is responsible for the revenue cycle transformation and optimization of Prime Healthcares existing Epic facilities and strategic planning of future implementation as it pertains to revenue. The role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of revenue cycle standards. This position is strategic, with a focus on process improvements to maximize cash collections for the organization. This position is a leadership position that will work with the Epic implementation team and will be a driver of change for revenue enhancements. After an Epic implementation, this position will lead revenue cycle Epic optimization and implement revenue cycle process improvements/ potential centralization. The position will create, enhance, and implement Revenue Cycle Analytics reviews for executive staff. The role requires proficiency with items such as total operating margin, A/R days due to coding, total A/R days outstanding, total A/P days outstanding, cash receipts to bad debt, claims denial rate, days of cash on hand, dashboards and reports, queries cash collections, credit card payment, work queues, etc. This position performs financial analyses to ensure revenue cycle is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible and works at the main point of contact with the Regional Business Offices.


 Experience as a biller, cash poster, coder, or other function with in health care revenue cycle.  Senior leadership experience at a healthcare organization using Epic  Experience leading standardization and optimization initiatives  Bachelors degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business Management, Computer Science, or related field required.  Minimum four (4) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system preferred  Minimum four (4) years of experience in project management preferred.  Knowledge of healthcare, health IT, and healthcare revenue cycle.  Experience leading large teams of individuals and the ability to manage staff effectively  Excellent communication and organizational skills
