Responsibilities

The Trauma Research Scientist is responsible for assisting the Trauma team with analysis and development of trauma relevant research for publication. This position will perform a variety of standard programming and analytical assignments.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1.    5 years within a research/academic environment as well as a hospital based practice
2.    Working knowledge of database programs and biostatistics applied to research
3.    Thorough knowledge of biostatistician programs and programming
4.    Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
5.    Understanding of how to build collaborative partnerships between academic/research universities
6.    National Conference Presentation experience
7.    Publication experience
8.    Doctoral Degree required (Healthcare research related field, Epidemiology, Public Health)
9.    Certification specific to statistical analysis (preferred)
10.  Certification specific to condut:.1lng research (preferred)
11.  Certification specific to clinical practice area and trauma (required)
