Job Description

Overview
Team Leader position for 2 programs:  Wellness and Recovery Center (4 Pocono Rd), and Enhanced Outpatient Program (50 Morris Ave).  Team Leader will split time between the 2 locations and manage referrals to both programs, along with team members, as well as provide direct service to person's experiencing acute symptoms related to their mental health concerns.  Team Leader also collects data from programs and oversees the spreadsheets used for both State and Hospital reports.  Team Leader will provide supervision to clinical staff as well as support regarding integration of treatment modalities, ie co-occurring, group therapy, trauma, etc. 

Responsibilities

Supervises activities of Enhanced Outpatient Team and Early Intervention Support Services Team. Provides assessment, consultation and counseling to persons with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Networks with community resources and provides linkage and referral. Understands and utilizes elements of evidenced-based practices in mental health treatment. Educates staff regarding integrated treatment approach. Provides care to adult consumers.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience
  • 3 years previous counseling or related experience working with persons with co-occurring disorders. Credentialed as a Licensed Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (LCADC). Previous supervisory experience.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or if MSW, must be either a Licensed Social worker (LSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). LCSW preferred. Proof of educational instruction needed.
  • Supervisory Certificate per Licensing Standards
  • Valid Driver's License legally required.
