Providence Medical Center, located in thriving Western Wyandotte County near the Legends and I-435, is a community hospital affiliated with Prime Healthcare. Providence is also associated with Saint John Hospital, located in Leavenworth, Kan. More than 1,300 skilled and qualified individuals provide nursing, medical and support services at both locations. The dedicated and experienced staff, along with 275-plus devoted volunteers, serves the health needs of Wyandotte, Leavenworth and northern Johnson counties and surrounding areas by providing expert care, close to home.

Responsibilities As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting new employees into clinical positions at our Hospitals. You will work closely with hospital leadership and develop recruiting strategies that ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner. To be successful in this position you will need skills in sourcing, salary negotiation, interviewingnetworking, and, have a strong knowledge of clinical functions. As you would suspect, you will work closely with hiring managers and human resource staff to ensure that the talent acquisition practice meets the organization’s needs. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. High school diploma/GED, required. Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or a related field preferred.
2. Two years of talent acquisition experience to include sourcing, screening and interviewing, healthcare experience preferred.
3. Experience developing and negotiating job offers.
4. Experience with electronic applicant tracking systems.
5. Experience using a variety of sourcing techniques to attract active and passive candidates.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
7. Demonstrates positive interpersonal and effective communications skills.

 

Talent Acquisition Specialist will work on a regional level supporting multiple hospitals.
