Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst II will work onsite at Prime Healthcare located in Ontario, CA and provide detailed operational / financial analysis of supply chain and Pharmacy data to support the Sourcing, Contracting and Procurement strategies, within the framework of HealthTrust as its contracted GPO. The analyst will work under the guidance of Prime Healthcare supply chain leadership. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various financial and savings/opportunity analysis for Prime Healthcare Services as a participant of HealthTrust's Group Purchasing Organization. The person in this role will conduct analyses and develop actionable reports on diverse projects and problems related to supply / pharmaceutical costs, benchmark analysis, administrative, and utilization trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering, Statistics, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field).
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related job experience required
  • Medical supplies or pharmaceutical product knowledge preferred
  • Strong proficiency with various analytics and business intelligence tools preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Healthcare purchasing or analytics experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a team environment or independently as needed.
