Job Description

St. Mary’s Medical Center is a faith-based, 146-bed acute care hospital providing a wide range of services, including 24-hour Emergency Department, Joint and Spine Institute, Surgical Services and outpatient services. St. Mary's Medical Center has provided high-quality compassionate care to the residents of Blue Springs and Eastern Jackson County for more than 30 years. St. Mary's, one of Kansas City’s best kept secrets, offers patients the best of both worlds--a warm, caring environment, close to home while providing the wide range of services and expertise typically found in much larger facilities.

St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for new RN graduates.
Bridge to Practice is a six-month Nurse Residency program designed to support the recent graduates transition into clinical practice. The purpose of the program is to ease this transition professionally, emotionally and socially during the first year.  It also provides an opportunity for graduates to hone critical-thinking and evidence-based decision-making skills in a low-pressure and non-judgmental environment.                                                           Along with clinical practice instruction, the program also works on reducing burnout, developing clinical leadership, and the "soft-skills" crucial for patient and peer communication.   Mentorship is the overriding theme of the program where the nurse learns from the shared experiences of their colleagues and can debrief on their own personal experience in an environment that promotes growth and support.
Our program is designed to assure your success and make a positive impact on your student loan debt. Our program includes:
- Bonus - Tuition Reimbursement for continuing education/advanced degree- New Grad Bonus and Clinical Advancement Bonus programs
