Responsibilities As our new Operating Room Nurse, you will perform a variety of nursing duties and act as a liaison between physicians, patients, management and allied health team members.  You will also oversee the clinical activities for the surgical technicians and ancillary staff in the planning and delivery of patient care. We are looking for a Nurse who can demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients served in their unit. The best part, you will be part of a close, very collaborative OR team. Our OR performs Cardiac Surgeries including Open Hearts, NAVIO Knee Replacement, Eye Surgeries as well as other Orthopedic and General Surgeries. Education and Work Experience1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
5. Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
6. Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
