Job Description

Responsibilities

Department: Nursing Float
Status: Part Time
Shift: Nights


The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the medical / surgical setting. Communicates with physicians / Nurse Director / Co-workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

1. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
2. Completion of an RN program from an accredited School of Nursing
3. Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write)
4. Current and valid Nevada RN License.
5. BLS (AHA) certification required.
6. Other certifications as required by Unit.
7. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) training within 90 days of hire and every two years thereafter.

 


Employees must be in their current position for a minimum of six calendar months and not received any disciplinary action within the last six months to apply and be considered for a transfer.
