Pampa Regional Medical Center is a 115-bed acute care, community hospital and is the largest medical center in the Texas Panhandle outside of Amarillo. Pampa Regional provides a wide range of services including a 24-hour Emergency Department, Orthopedics, Senior Behavioral Health, Surgical Services, Women’s Health Services and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

As our new Med/Surg Nurse, you will work with some of the brightest minds in healthcare while you provide direct and indirect care to our patients. You will be part of a close team that is very collaborative and supportive; the type of environment best suited to assist you develop and hone your skills. You will be involved in daily care coordination rounds, implementing the plan of care, administering medications, wound care, educating patients and their families on steps to manage pain and achieve the best possible outcomes. Sound Intriguing; if so, you should also know we provide a very competitive compensation package and great benefits.

Qualifications

Experience 
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
