Responsibilities

 

** This positiion is focused on CV/IR Procedures, Pre-Procedure and Recovery -- New Rates and Bonus $$ **

 

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data pre and post procedure, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiac catherization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology lab. Monitors and records patient's condition. Assist with stress testing and bedside procedures in prep & recovery. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

1.Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.2.Missouri RN License; required.3.Current BLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.4.One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Radiology Lab doing cardiac work OR in a Critical Care area; required.
