As our new Coronary Care Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the best care to our critically ill patients and their families. You will have the excitement of working in a fast-paced environment that will utilize your quick critical thinking and problem solving skills. In our 20 bed, Coronary Care/Critical Care Step Down Unit we are looking for an eager, flexible, nurse who is ready to learn and looking to join a very collaborative and supportive team. We are looking for someone who can bring forward their knowledge of the different arrhythmias, post cath lab and interventional radiology procedures, care for NSTEMI and STEMI patients, COPD, heart failure, and pneumonias. You don’t bring all these forward, don’t worry, for the right candidate we will be happy to teach you. Sound Intriguing; if so, you should also know our Per Diem rate is very competitive. 

Education and Work Experience

  1. Current and valid state RN License.
  2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  6. Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
  7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
