Job Description

Overview
The Regional Manager of Wound Care Services coordinates with hospital wound care services to develop and implement wound care policies and practices in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provides direction for overall development and implementation of a comprehensive wound care program which includes both inpatient wound care practices and outpatient wound care programs. Communicates with wound care team and physicians/LIPs regarding changes in current wound care practices based on clinical evidence. Development of standardized policies and practices through Wound Care Committee collaboration. Cost effective standardization of equipment and supplies. Analyzes multi-site clinical, financial and operational performance, productivity, and staffing of outpatient wound care programs. Analyzes financial reports. Communicates effectively, in writing, verbally, and via telephone. Available to travel in and out of state. Has work flexibility in day to day operations.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:
1. Five or more years’ previous experience in an acute care hospital setting.
2. Five or more years of previous experience in setting up Out-patient Wound Care/HBO Centers.
3. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field.
 
Preferred qualifications:
1. Master of Science, Master’s in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
2. Multi-site Wound Care Center/HBO ongoing management experience.
