The Regional Manager of Human Resources formulates and supervises programs relative to selection, training, promotion, welfare, and other employer/employee relationships for multiple facilities.  Interviews job applicants; develops personnel record forms; adjust disputes and grievances and recommends necessary disciplinary actions; analyzes, classifies and evaluates jobs.  Administers employee welfare and recreation services, and serves as an adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.



Ensures that current files of job applicants for various positions in the hospital are kept up to date and in compliance

Maintains personnel records in an accurate manner

Promotes programs with the approval of the executive staff that enhance employee morale

Interviews job applicants as necessary to ensure a capable workforce and oversees the recruitment process

Supervises and maintains job evaluation program

Is familiar with organization and maintains charts of organization

Promotes various employee programs

Administers validated testing programs and annual training as needed

Assists with in-service education programs

Conducts annual salary and wage comparison based on results from the annual market salary survey results

Conducts special studies in problem areas at the request of the Chief Executive Officer/Administrator

Monitors position control systems using spreadsheets or the computerized payroll/personnel module

Provides for the professional growth and development of employees through identification of needs, training programs, encouraging education efforts and evaluation of it

Consults with Hospital employees on a regular basis to keep lines of communication open in order to maintain positive staff morale and a professional and productive atmosphere within the institution.

Participates in recruitment, interviewing and selection of staff for the Hospital


Bachelor’s degree required.

Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years in hospital management experience required.

Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques; training methods; and job analysis.

Familiar with wage and hour laws.

Knowledge of state and federal laws including ERISA guidelines and accreditation standards.
