Overview This position can be located in the following states:  Indiana, Ohio, Missouri or Kansas, in one of our Prime Healthcare Hospitals.



Responsibilities The Corporate Regional Chief Nurse Officer (CNO) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who assumes 24 hour administrative responsibility for the management and coordination of all nursing functions throughout the designated region. Oversees the delivery of patient care and ensures that local, state, and federal guidelines are followed. Collaborates with the leadership of various service lines in order to develop and implement organizational plans including policies, protocols, standardized care and performance improvement activities. Effectively utilizes nursing staffing metrics, dashboards and other data tools in order to monitor the financial stability and quality scores for the Nursing Services. Consults and communicates with local Directors, Staff, Physicians and Administration through site visits, meetings, committees and rounds. Addresses patient care delivery issues and ensures local adoption of corporate policies. Available to travel to all facilities across the enterprise



Education and Work Experience

1. Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management experience necessary.
4. Minimum of five (5) years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
5. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
6. Master’s of Science in Nursing or related advanced administration/leadership degree required
7. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current.
