We are looking for a phenomenal candidate for a Regional CEO position located in my Kansas City market. They have to have multi hospital campus/acute care facility experience, be a strategic thinker, motivator, who knows how to compete in a diverse and competitive market. This position will be over 4 facilities and report to the Corporate VP. The selected candidate will be an effective CEO with a proven track record of accomplishments.

 

Would you know of anyone who may be a good referral for this type of hospital CEO roll with Candidates have to have at least 10 years of current for-profit acute care hospital CEO experience over multiple locations to be considered.

 

We would like someone with turn around experience, have a strategic/competitive spirit , medical and surgical experience and vast acute care hospital operations experience.

Responsibilities

Position Description:

The Regional Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall day to day hospital operations of the hospital as well as the strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination and control of activity within patient care, clinical and clinical support service areas. Works collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure that quality patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner.

Plans and directs the short and long range objectives/goals of the company to meet its financial and non-financial goals. Ensures synergy between people, processes, and strategies to execute business objectives/goals. Attracts, trains, develops, and retains talent to ensure business needs are met.

Drives and builds revenue growth through developing new business strategies to improve overall performance. Communicates key information to respective stakeholders. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and policies. Oversees multiple facilities.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelors degree in healthcare or closely related field. (Masters strongly preferred)

2. Extensive knowledge of Health Care Operations practices and principles.

3. Progressively responsible experience in the hospital leadership profession.

4. Multi hospital campus/acute care facility experience is a MUST.

5. Five Years of Hospital Executive Management Experience.

6. Be a strategic thinker.

7. Experience competing in a diverse and competitive healthcare market.
