Job Description

Responsibilities The Physician Liaison will partner with Hospital CEO and Director/Manager of Business Development to develop relationships with referring physicians in order to facilitate beneficial referring practices for both the hospital and the physician(s) practice along with providing frequent updates on organizational initiatives (including new service lines), quality scores and marketing strategies.  The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding physician relationships. These activities may include but are not limited to: relationship building, marketing, public relations, customer service, and patient referral coordination.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Business (development), sales and/or marketing coursework/degree preferred.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to function with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Three years’ experience preferred in physician relations, sales and/or consulting within a Primary Care or Specialty Physician Practice. 
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, writing, spelling, telephone etiquette, and sensitive interface with community members, physicians and employees required.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
