Job Description

Overview
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for timely, accurate processing and reconciliation of payroll checks. Effectively interacts with the Human Resources department, managers and group staff regarding payroll issues. Input and retrieve payroll data from the computerized system. The Payroll Coordinator works with timekeeping system to ensure accurate time keeping and pay policy.  Has the ability to communicate with adolescence, adulthood, late adulthood to geriatrics.

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma.
  • A minimum of 5 years of current Payroll experience
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills
  • General accounting background.
  • 10 Key by touch, direct data entry experience
  • Hands-on experience with Excel and Microsoft Word Document
  • Experience with Timekeeping System
  • Strong knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines/Healthcare pay practices
  • Knowledge of Multi-State tax
  • Knowledge of reporting State, Federal, Local taxes: Biweekly \u2013 Quarterly \u2013 Year End
  • Knowledge of processing W2 and New Hire reporting
  • Lawson (preferred)
