Job Description

Responsibilities Plans, provides and coordinates collection of healthcare data for physician network in an efficient manner. Responsible for tracking and reporting referral trends, market and quality data. Incumbent is responsible for implementing best practice processes and workflows in ambulatory settings; provides Epic support in collaboration with IT department. Will interact with physicians, APP’s, clinic support staff and other hospital departments. Supports the interactions between clinical departments, department directors, IT, and the medical staff.

Education and Work Experience

1. Graduate of an approved school for medical assisting and certified as an MA
2. Appropriate certification in Epic applications, or obtained within 6 months
3. Minimum of two years of clinical experience in physician office setting
4. Strong organizational skills
5. Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail
6. Pro-active problem solver with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
7. Moderate computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
8. Comfortable interacting with physicians and leadership
9. Ability to self-motivate and work independently and under pressure in a complex and changing working environment
