Responsibilities

Our Emergengy Department is looking for a dynamic, resourceful leader to be the Nurse Manager. In this role, you will work closely with a strong, supportive leadership team and supervise all nursing activities associated with the unit. Part of your duties would include supervising nursing practices, defining goals for the team and evaluating nursing personnel performance. In addition, you would be interacting with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and their families to help provide comprehensive and superior care. The best part is you will be assuming a Great Team of experienced nurses providing fantastic patient care.
 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience
  • Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
  • PALS upon hire and maintain current.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) upon hire and maintained current.
  • Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
