Job Description


  • The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist position and should not be taken as an all inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required, of an individual assigned to this job.
  • Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to department protocols.
  • Functions as the first line interface with all customers, which includes Physicians, patients and coworkers and is successful in meeting the needs of the Nuclear Medicine Department.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
  • Participates in PI/ QC activities and assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
Education and Work Experience
  1. Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required..
  2. Must possess an active NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) licensure.
  3. Supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Min 5 years of NMT experience.
  5. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
  6. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
  7. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  8. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
  9. Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  10. Proficient computer skills.
