Summary:
JOB SUMMARY: Manager of Wound Care Services is responsible for the day to day management and coordination of all activities in the unit. Supervises and monitors performance of the Wound Care staff. Interacts with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and patients families/significant other(s) to provide comprehensive care.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. BCLS upon hire and maintain current.
3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
4. Must obtain Sexual Harassment Certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially.
5. Certified Wound Care (CWCA, CWOCN or WCC) preferred.
6. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required.
7. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
8. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
9. Current CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain annually.
