Job Description


Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates and manages the work functions of the clinical nutrition staff including, but not limited to, the dietitians and diet clerks, to ensure full compliance with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.  Establishes and maintains policies, standards and programs for the provision of optimal patient care; monitoring clinical dietetic performance for safety, efficacy and evidence-based practice.  Participates in hiring, orienting and educating staff.  Assesses and ensures that competency standards and required professional skills of clinical staff are met and maintained.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience
 
1.    Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).2.    State specific dietitian license as required by State of practice.3.    Food Safety Certification from accredited organization and maintain current.4.    Minimum 3-5 years as a registered dietitian with minimum 1-year clinical management experience.
