Job Description

Responsibilities Work with facilities to develop appropriate disability management strategies to meet objectives and goals.  Provide expertise in strategy development and execution, planning and facilitation of case management.  Minimize risk to facilities by ensuring leave and accommodation practices are compliant.  Understand the Interactive Process and recommend accommodations that are beneficial to both the employee and the facility.  Consult with Legal and leadership as needed.  Ensure tracking of cases is in accordnace with legal requirements and facility guidelines.  Work with facilities in auditing employee leaves of absences to include creating and maintaining audit logs/tools, aggressive return to work strategies, and partner with legal on difficult case management. Act as a liaison between the facility and legal department regarding disability management.  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.            College degree or at least 5 years’ experience in leave administration required.

2.            Previous experience auditing employee leaves, e.g. medical, personal, FMLA, or ADA.

3.            Knowledge of Microsoft Office and superior interpersonal skills required.
