JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Generalist manages the day to day operations and provides a wide variety of complex Human Resources support to all levels in the organization, ensuring the comprehensive administration of human resources policy and procedures. The position performs high-level professional duties in a variety of functional core human resources areas including affirmative action, acquisition projects, legal compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines.

1. Interpreting and ensuring compliance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreements.
2. Investigate and resolve first line grievances in accordance to policy and CBA.
3. Prepares monthly report of employee complaints/grievances and their resolution
4. Meets with Union Reps to resolve potential issues and/or concerns.
5. Provide consult to leadership on employee relations issues, performance management and discipline.
6. Update and monitor performance evaluations into the HRIS system
7. Provides benefit enrollment and support for employees
8. Provide on-boarding process for new hires, HRIS entry, new hire orientation, and 90 day competency compliance.
9. Administer leaves of absence following all legal guidelines and timelines.
10. Prepares employee change notice for payroll and inputs information appropriately into the HRIS system.
11. Process employee separations from first knowledge to close out of the personnel file
12. Prepares monthly turnover and PI reports.
13. Primary source employee  licensure
14. Manage TJC compliance on personnel files, contract labor and registry.
16. Manage workers comp reporting and investigation. Track and trend for safety resolution and prevention
17. Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or closely related field.
  2. PHR, SPHR or relevant human resources certifications or advanced degree preferred.
  3. 5-7 years recent health care experience in a Human Resources Department.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
  5. Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.
