Overview
Providence Medical Center is a faith-based, 400-bed hospital providing an extensive array of diagnostic and treatment services including surgery, heart and vascular care, Spine Center, Joint Center and Sleep Disorders Center. Providence is nationally recognized and accredited by The Joint Commission, and has earned the Gold Standard as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and the Platinum Performance Achievement Award from the American College of Cardiology.

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between the health system/market/hospital and area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers. Serve as an advocate of the hospital with private, local, regional, and state EMS agencies. Develop and implement a business plan, driving service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS and public safety relations. Clinical (EMT/EMT-Paramedic) experience required. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING  1. Technical training required to achieve EMT license. 2. Certifications: Certified EMT-Basic or EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Advanced or EMT-Paramedic (National Registry and/or local), Certified BLS, ACLS, PALS required. PHTLS, NALS, AMLS, TCCC, preferred. 3. 1 year EMS outreach experience preferred; 3 years EMS clinical experience preferred.
