We are currently looking for an experienced, compassionate, Echocardiogram Technician (Echo Tech) to join our team at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Our Cardiology team is a leader in cardiac care, providing the highest quality of care to our patients by combining the latest cardiac techniques and procedures, state-of-the-art facilities, and a comfortable, friendly, compassionate and patient-centered environment. In this role, you will be using ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. For complex ultrasound procedures, you will be working closely with the physician, and your experience will be a vital asset. Additionally, you will be part of a close, very collaborative and supportive team. As such, we are looking for someone who demonstrates professionalism and is wanting to join an industry leader in Cardiology.

Education and Work Experience
  • Completion of Echocardiogram program or equivalent training required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
  • Able to assist physician with TEE testing required.
  • Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
  • Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
  • Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI required.
  • Proficient computer skills.
