Overview

THIS JOB CAN BE LOCATED IN ANY STATE THAT THERE IS A PRIME HEALTHCARE HOSPITAL.  

Responsibilities

The Corporate Director of Education (CDE) provides leadership of activities supporting clinical practices, professional development, patient care and clinical initiative outcomes for all Prime Healthcare facilities.  The CDE will lead change efforts in areas of benchmarking, patient safety and clinical best practices to support achievement of high quality nursing care and patient outcomes.  The CDE will oversee that programs are cost effective while achieving learning outcomes that impact behavioral and practice change.    

Qualifications

  • Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.

  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

  • Minimum of 5 years as a Healthcare Leader.

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous educational experience preferred.

  • Masters of Science in Nursing Education required.

  • Skillful in the art of writing utilizing appropriate grammar/references.

  • Able to interpret primary literature.
