Job Description

Overview Responsible for system wide coordination of Behavioral Healthcare services across Prime Healthcare that supports corporate-wide programs, treatment programming, policies and procedures to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of the mental health patient. Will assume a leadership role in developing, implementing and coordinating education plans for providing training in all clinical setting, that meet Behavioral Health specific requirements. Work collaboratively with Administration and Leadership at the facility level to oversee compliance with goals and objectives established by the Prime Healthcare Services as a system. Serves as an expert resource within Prime Healthcare for Behavioral Healthcare services and treatment programs and service line development for Prime Healthcare Services.

Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge of Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health operations and Policies and Procedures.

Familiar with Administrative policies and procedures, Hospital and Behavioral Health, inpatient and outpatient programming and treatment practices.

Maintains HIPPA compliance and up to date with new regulatory changes and privacy practices specific to Behavioral Health Laws, for inpatient and out-patient treatment.

Travels to different locations and out of state as needed to support day to day operations.

Working knowledge of behavioral health practices, standards, clinical operations, regulatory requirement, reimbursement practices and current Mental Health Law.

Working knowledge of service lines within Behavioral Health Care Treatment services and how to access and reference regulatory standard related to each type of service line within the Behavioral Health Scope.

Has working knowledge of DSM, Treatment Programming, Treatment Planning and other program therapies, to support services as a consultant to the processes.

Performs other duties as assigned or required.

    Active RN LicensureMinimum of 10 years Behavioral Health experienceMinimum of 5 years in Behavioral Health leadership or administrative roleCurrent BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain currentProficient with computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
