Job Description

The Collection Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing department activities and delivery of Business Services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Supervisor maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional business service. The Collection Manager  Medicare should Demonstrate a strong knowledge of third party payers including Medicare, and local HMO/PPO s. The Collection Manager is accountable to the PFS Director for the day-today management of personnel, including staffing, time-keeping, employee evaluation and counseling, and interview and selection of staff within established hospital guidelines. The Collection Manager spends 80% + of his/her time is spent on the aforementioned management activities.
