It’s happening again; We are growing! We are starting a new Microbiology Lab focused on supporting our 4 local hospitals. This brand new state-of-the-art lab will be equipped with the latest equipment including a MALDI-TOF Mass spectrometry.

 

As our new CLS Microbiologist Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of microbiology procedures requiring independent judgement while performing high complexity testing in both manual and automated methods. You will also review the accuracy of patient results prior to releasing or reporting, and, be involved with document creation and maintenance. As expected, you will ensure that the testing of proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples and that procedures are followed regarding reporting to agencies. Qualifications

Education and Experience
• CLS/MT ASCP certification or equivalent is required
• CLS/MT Generalist with 1-yr Microbiology experience or Microbiologist Specialist preferred,
• Bachelor Degree in Chemical, physical, or biological science, or, Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
