Summary:
JOB SUMMARY: Supervises and directs work of all non-physician staff, Recruits, selects, and trains all non-physician staff, Recommends and implements practice needs including equipment, facilities, and services. responsible for facilities and premises management. Provides leadership and accountability for the management of resources and through interdisciplinary collaboration, coordination of patient care and program initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Analyzes and reviews practice operations with physicians to ensure service quality and outcomes. Assures satisfactory patient experiences in the clinic and in the hospital surgical process and ensures appropriate measures to gain and maintain insurance designation with program distinction. Manages practice within established budgetary guidelines, responsible for revenue cycle management, makes recommendations to physicians. Assist with implementing marketing plans prepared by marketing and business development staff. Conduct routine audits and inspections of each practice to ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance. Works as a liaison with CFO, accountants and attorneys to ensure reports to government agencies and all regulatory standards are met and timely. Assists the managed care/billing department with insurance contracts, oversees outside billing and collection company. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Bachelor's degree in nursing or dietetics from a four-year College or University. 2. A minimum of five years of related management experience in an outpatient practice or related clinical setting. 3. Experience in managing physicians and/or physician practices. 4. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationships. 5. Experience with general ledger and physician practice expense reporting/bookkeeping, budgeting. 6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Operates with integrity and professional work ethics 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be detail oriented. 8. Leadership skill and effective style to recruit and retain quality staff
