Responsibilities

Provides quality education in the School of Nursing through implementation of the objectives of the nursing program. Participates in the operational activities of the school through committee activities

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is required from an NLN/ACEN/CCNE accredited school. Faculty with less than an MSN may be employed if qualified candidates are not available. They may function as assistants under direct guidance of a fully qualified faculty member. Assistants must have a minimum of a BSN, and must show evidence of actively pursuing an MSN.

  • 2-3 years recent clinical experience relative to area of specialization.

  • Provides supervision to students when participating in the clinical aspect of their educational experience.

  • Proficient in basic computer skills
