Responsibilities Security

8 hr, varied shift

Full time


Implements Security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers’ rounds.  Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.  Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement.  Establishes guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care .  Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety.  Participates in employee awareness and education.  Coordinates hospital Parking Policy and Lost and Found Policy.  Driving as needed for company business.

Education and Work Experience

    Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferredAbility to pass physical requirements.Valid Driver’s License requiredHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) training within 90 days of hire and every two years thereafter.
Employees must be in their current position for a minimum of six calendar months and not received any disciplinary action within the last six months to apply and be considered for a transfer.
