Job Description

Responsibilities The Practice Director is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing department activities and delivery of Practice services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Director maintains operation within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others and other health team members, while maintaining standard of professional business service. The Practice Director is accountable to the CEO for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, counseling interviewing and selection of staff within established guidelines. The Practice Director spends 80% + of time performing expert duties related to Practice operations and related areas of expertise; less than 20% of time is spent on the aforementioned management activities.

Education and Work Experience

  1. Three to five years experience in health care practice office preferred
  2. Management experience preferred
  3. Computer and word processing skills.
  4. Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the Practice Office
  5. Knowledge of collection procedures and regulations
  6. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
  7. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
