Responsibilities

The Physician Liaison will partner with Hospital CEO and Director of Business Development to develop relationships with referring physicians in order to facilitate beneficial referring practices for both the hospital and the physicians practices of the Prime Healthcare facilities located in the Pennsylvania market (Roxborough Memorial Hospital and Suburban Community Hospital).  The Physician Liaison will also provide frequent updates on organizational initiatives (including new service lines), quality scores and marketing strategies  The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding physician relationships. These activities may include but are not limited to: relationship building, marketing, public relations, customer service, and patient referral coordination. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Bachelor’s Degree required. Business (development), sales and/or marketing coursework/degree preferred.2. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.3. Must be able to function with minimal direction and supervision.4. Three years’ experience preferred in physician relations, sales and/or consulting within a Primary Care or Specialty Physician Practice.5. Must be detail-oriented and have strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.6. Good interpersonal skills, writing, spelling, telephone etiquette, and sensitive interface with community members, physicians and employees required.7. Computer literacy with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
