Job Description


Under the written referral of a physician, and in collaboration with other members of the Hospital staff, the physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation of in/out patients’ clinical status, the assessment of their rehabilitation potential and the design and implementation of appropriate treatment programs to maximize the patient’s level of function. The Physical therapist must also perform a variety of activities in support of the rehabilitation process including scheduling, documentation, and patient and family education within the Hospital and/or contract sites. Exposure to open wounds, bloody body fluids, and sharps, and hazardous materials.


Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy with Baccalaureate, Masters or Doctorate degree.  Rhode Island license and CPR required.
