Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and implementation of a patient focused program for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease at Providence Medical Center and Saint John Hospital. Position will manage the clinical, economic and quality aspects of the program. Promotes the delivery of quality care for patients across the continuum of care. Coordinates program activities and services in collaboration with clinical service departments and business development. In collaboration with the medical staff and hospital administration follows the strategic plan for program implementation and development; activities include business development, marketing, quality standards reporting, performance improvement assessment, community outreach programs, physician support and on-going education programs.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (preferred) or Certified Medical Assistant.
  2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Minimum of 5 years in clinic or hospital setting preferred
  4. Cardiology or Vascular clinical experience preferred
  5. Previous program development experience preferred.
  6. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  7. Results oriented leader with ability to think strategically and work well independently. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
