As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will offer great customer service and care to patients during the rooming process and during follow-up, as well as work closely with providers to ensure that all of the patients' needs are being addressed. Our Medical Assistants are the front line of care for each patient, which requires accurate patient history and information gathering, taking patient vitals, as well as a friendly face that welcomes the patient to our clinic. Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
  • Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
  • Work experience in health care preferred.
