Job Description


Formulate and manages programs relative to selection, training, promotion, and other employer/employee relationships. Interviews job applicant; develops personnel record forms; adjust disputes and grievances and recommends necessary disciplinary actions; analyzes, classifies and evaluation jobs. Administers employee welfare and recreation services, and serves as adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.



  • Ensures that current files of job applicants for various positions in the hospital are in compliance.
  • Promotes programs with the approval of the executive staff that enhance employee morale.
  • Interviews job applicants as necessary to ensure a capable workforce, and work on retention programs.
  • Is familiar with organization and maintains charts of organization.
  • Conducts audits to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Ensures compliance with pay practices and compensation guidelines.
  • Provides for the professional growth and development of employees through identification of needs, training programs, encouraging education efforts and evaluation of it.
  • Provides Leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental goals and objectives.

1. Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience required.
2. Master’s Degree preferred
3. At least 2 Years of Healthcare Experience required
4. Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; pay practices and techniques, review techniques; training methods.
5. Familiar with the labor market for recruitment and understanding of accreditation standards.
6. Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws required.
7. Must obtain Sexual Harassment certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially.
