In 1904, our founder, Ellen G. White, helped to purchase 54 acres of land with the purpose of beginning a healthcare institution, Paradise Valley Hospital.

Bayview Behavioral Health Campus of Paradise Valley Hospital

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, people with depression are four times more likely to have a heart attack than those without a history of depression.

Located at Moss Street and Third Avenue in Chula Vista, Bayview Behavioral Health helps people from adolescence through their senior years learn the most effective ways to confront problems such as anger, grief, depression, anxiety and loss. We are distinguished by our crisis intervention services, chemical dependency programs and inpatient and outpatient services. Our free, confidential evaluations are offered 24 hours a day.

Job Description

Responsibilities Provides direct patient services, including group psychotherapy, individual psychotherapy and psychological assessment. Participates in treatment teams and program settings. Duration of internship normally one (1) year.
