Responsibilities

Excellent opportunity to join leading/growing healthcare company. Must have experience in Claims Resolution. Ability to follow up on EOB\u009ds to determine payment resolution.

Qualifications

1.Minimum of three years hospital Government/Managed Care/Commercial collector experience.2.Associate\u009ds degree or equivalent work experience preferred.3.Work assigned accounts and collect on claims on a timely basis.4.Experience in working aged accounts to reduce and maintenance bad debt.5.Follow-up on claims INPT/OUTPT.6.Maintains productivity standards and reports.7.Responsible to obtain State collection guidelines if applicable.8.Contract review of claims and billing requirements for acute care facilities.9.Work with major insurance companies. Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and third party payers (ERISA) for healthcare services collections.10.Communication with insurance companies on benefits and balances due.11.Knowledge of identifying billing denials, claim denials, pricing errors, payments, etc. and knowing how to appeal each issue.12.Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid follow up.13.Understanding fee schedules.14.Make appropriate corrections and resubmit claims.15.Identify contractual issues that are contrary or inconsistent with contract language.16.Excellent communication and writing skills.17.Good attention to details and documentation.18.Outstanding listening, communication, problem-solving and research skills.19.Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task routinely.20.Professional presentation/appearance/demeanor.21.Ability to follow policy and procedures.
